Rutland Fairtrade Christmas Market, Oakham Castle, 30 Nov
There will be a large variety of stalls will offer Fairtrade and ethically traded products from around the world, including foods, clothes, toys, jewellery, accessories and hand-made crafts. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy Fairtrade refreshments and homemade cakes.
Bawdon Lodge Artisan Fair, Quorn, 30 Nov
Gathering together the very finest in locally produced, sourced and crafted products from across the Midlands. Shop from a carefully curated mix of local creative makers plus, taste the culinary delights as well as peruse fantastic home, gift and lifestyle stalls and of course enjoy a tipple or two. From 10 am – 4pm.
Christmas at the Barn, 1620s House, Donington Le Heath, 1 Dec
Join in with this festive festive market in the Barn at The 1620s House, Donington le Heath. Come and find a little gem amongst carefully curated hand picked stalls especially for you. Vintage and Boutique style homeware, gift and handmade craft. £1 entrance fee. From 11am.
Ashby Christmas Weekend, 30 Nov – 1 Dec
What better way to get in the Christmas spirit than nibbling your way around the food-filled Market Street where you can eat and drink your fill of festive food from local, regional and artisan producers plus great entertainment. The event is free and will feature Santa, choirs, brass bands, childrens rides and a variety of shop promotions.
Over 60 stalls showcasing gifts, crafts, vintage, with a gin bar, prosecco, street food and Christmas cheer plus, carol singing and music. At indoor and outdoor venues throughout the streets of our this pretty Leicestershire village. Free entry from 11am.
Clarendon Park Christmas Fair, Leics, 1 Dec
Definitely one to visit if you love supporting local. The fair will feature 50 stalls selling crafts, unique gifts and homemade food. There will also be a fairground with rides for the kids. From 11am.
Christmas Food and Drinks Festival, Engine Yard (opp Belvoir Castle), 6-8 Dec
Stock your larder with traditional treats from local producers as well as sellers offering tasty rare and unusual world foods. Professional chefs will be on hand to provide recipe ideas, food demonstrations and tips and techniques. There will also be artisan stall holders offering succulent meats, game and charcuterie as well as the finest cheeses, perfect patisserie, cakes and puddings, all available to take home for the festive and party season.
Christmas in Uppingham, 5 Dec
Join in with the town as they celebrate Christmas in Uppingham. It’s a family event with lots of food and wine, festive spirit and late night shopping, in this beautiful market town.
Winter Fair, Beaumanor Hall, Woodhouse Eaves, 7-8 Dec
This beautiful country house will be transformed into a magical wonderlands which yuo can enjoy while shopping for some gifts or two. There will also be craft demos, street food, live musical performances, Santa’s grotto (£10 per child), fun activities and much more. Take part in the Gingerbread House competition (applications to be completed by Fri 29 Nov more info here) which will be judged on Sat. £5, children under 12 free. From 10am.
Victorian Christmas Weekend – Stonehurst Farm, 7-8 Dec
A really popular event, the annual Victorian Christmas weekend will feature stalls, gifts, food tasting, carols, roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, a live nativity scene, a brass band, children’s fair rides and of course, Santa. The event will run from 10am until 7pm on Saturday, and from 10am until 5pm on Sunday. Adult £5.00, children under 16 free. Visit to Father Christmas, including gift, £12.
Winter Makers Market, St Martin’s Walk, Leics, 8 Dec
The perfect indie shopping event run by Realms of Rummage. The event will be held across three venues: St Martin’s Coffee Shop, Tonne bar and NADA. Grab the kids and enjoy festive food from Crafty and St Martin’s, festive drinks from Tonne, and Christmas music from a local carol singers. Fill your bags will gifts from creative makers across the county and beyond. From 10am.
Bowden Makers Market, Bowden, Great Bowden Village Hall, Market Harbs, 7 Dec
Shop small this season. Kick off your shopping at this lovely little event where you can pick up Christmas gifting and stationery, homewares, rugs, jewellery, plants, ceramics, skincare and more. From 1-5pm.
Festive Feast and Craft Market, Hinckley , 15 Dec
Fill up your bags and your tummy with a delicious array of food including sweet and savoury crepes, cakes, churros, gourmet pies, jams, chutneys, waffles pizza, brownies and more all washed down with mulled wine and cider. There will also be plenty to shop, plus live performances and even a stilt-walking santa. From 10.30am in Market Place.
