Handmade Felted Lavender Bags  workshop, Wistow, Wed 28 Feb

This workshop is a lovely introduction to the craft of wet felting. You will learn how to make a hollow seamless heart that can be filled with dried lavender. There will be lots of beautiful coloured merino wool to choose from and you will be shown a range of decorative techniques so you can make three lovely lavender bag hearts – perfect to giveaway as pressies. From 10am – 3pm. £45.

Of Mice and Men, Uppingham Theatre, Wed 28 Feb – Sat 3 March

A powerful portrait of the American spirit and a heart-breaking testament to the bonds of friendship.  It is a wonderful production which tells the story of George Milton and Lennie Small, two displaced migrant ranch workers, who move from place to place in California in seach of new job opportunities during the Great Depression in the United States. This gripping piece of theatre will have you simply stunned by such emotional performances. Tickets £9

Giant Sleepovers, Visit Conkers, Thur 1 March – Sat 31 March 

Wanna chuck the kids out for the night? Well now you can but don’t worry you don;t need to leave them completely alone! Conkers Discovery will be hosting a giant sleepover in their Interactive Hall and everyone is invited. The sleepover package includes food and a big screen movies as well as breakfast the next day. The cost per child is £18.00 and £9.95 per adult.
