The ladies from F&B are back following the success of their spring event earlier this year. This winter event will take place over the course of two days and in the evening so it’s the perfect place to meet your gal pals after work for a giggle and some fun shopping. Wednesday night is a VIP night so you have to get tickets in advance from the website. Your £14 ticket includes entry to the event, a glass of something boozy or soft and as always there are goodie bags avail which will include a deliciously scented candle as well as exclusive discounts to us eon the night. There will also be a licensed bar serving hot and cold drinks.

Leicester’s Festive Fair, Market Square, Thur 23 Nov – Sat 23 Dec

This year you won’t have to leave the city to get your fill of a Christmas market because for the first time ever, you’ll get your own dedicated market right in the heart of the city. With over 40 stalls set upon chalets, you can expect a range of shopping, there will be food, drink and entertainment to enjoy. Along with some local traders, there will also be others selling speciality teas and coffees, olives, cheese, smoked meats and even tasty chocolates.

Carry On Christmas Shopping – after-work Wednesday evenings, direct from the designer-makers’ studios. Take your pick from art and craft work in wood, ceramics, glass, interior and fashion textiles, fashion, jewellery, picture framing, millinery and more. 5.30 -9pm

Victorian Christmas, Rockingham Castle, Mon 20th Nov – Fri 24th Nov

The fires are lit, the food prepared, the Great Hall table is laid, the kitchen is smelling delicious and the gifts are nestled beneath candlelit boughs. The Watson family are celebrating and their servants are stealing a moment to take you around the Castle in all its festive glory  to enjoy a thoroughly Victorian Christmas. Experience the magic of Christmas in this unique setting sure to get all the family in the mood for festive fun. Delicious homemade, locally sourced, dishes for lunch and dinner will be available in the Walker’s House Restaurant and don’t forget to pick up sme treats from the gift shop. Gates open daily and the first tour of the Castle starts at 11am. Tours run every 15 minutes throughout the day with the last tour at 7.30pm. Adults £10.00, Children (4-16) £5.00, Under 4s are free. Car Parking £3.00 per car.
