Head to the farm this Open Farm Sunday and learn about our Lincoln Red cattle, Exlana sheep, outdoor pigs and the wildlife and their habitats on one of their guided farm walks. You can also explore the polytunnel and see where they grow all their lettuce, which is picked daily and used in their Cafe.

Tex Fest, Market Harborough Showground, 29 June – 1 July

A brand new three-day music festival is hitting our shores and locals can expect a whole host of chart-topping acts and a range of entertainment during the day with a wide variety of food and drinks stalls and a huge funfair for all ages to enjoy. Festival-goers can even book a glamping package with pop up hotel and enjoy an extra night Thursday 28th June 2018. So far the line-up includes The Hoosiers, The Fratellis, Example, DJ Nick Grimshaw. There will also be a funfair, festival market, wide choice of foods, Bars, Campsite village and more.

Kibworth Book Festival 2018, Kibworth Beauchamp, Tues 5 June – Wed 27 June

Muddy Award Winner two years running, The Bookshop Kibworth is hosting the annual BookFest which kicks off Kibworth’s annual book festival. On Tuesday 5th June, Kibworth Library is playing host to Client Earth, a book documenting two lawyers journey in the fight for a healthier planet. The following day, local fiction author Mahsuda Snaith talks about her first novel ‘The Things We Thought We Knew’, a gripping coming-of-age tale.

Markets Bosworth Festivals Weekend of Art, Fri 8 June – Sun 10 June

This year’s Market Bosworth Festival kicks off with a ‘Weekend of Art’, with three main events: The Photography Competition, The Art Trail – an open houses and studios around the town – follow the trail map and The Art Exhibition where you can purchase a variety of stunning pieces of art.

Rutland Open Air Theatre, Tolethorpe Hall, June – August 
Enjoy the work of Shakespeare in the great outdoors, performed in one of the finest open air theatres set within the majestic grounds of Tolethorpe Hall.
