This week is the week to catch this unique art exhibition in the centre of Oakham. 3D pen specialist Barbara Taylor-Harris, as well as fellow artists Allyson Beckford and Dorothy Sharman, have come together to showcase art and its use of different media. Prompting mindful questions and an emotional response, there is also a colourful display for you to feast your eyes on.

Aimed at an adult-only audience, this comedy musical is not for the faint hearted, but if you feel in the mood, then this might just be the musical for you. A story told by people and puppets, the production is a fresh and funny take on the ups, downs, trials, and tribulations of everyday life.

Kibworth Book Festival 2018, Kibworth Beauchamp, Tues 5 June – Wed 27 June
Muddy Award Winner two years running, The Bookshop Kibworth is hosting the annual BookFest which kicks off Kibworth’s annual book festival. On Tuesday 5th June, Kibworth Library is playing host to Client Earth, a book documenting two lawyers journey in the fight for a healthier planet. The following day, local fiction author Mahsuda Snaith talks about her first novel ‘The Things We Thought We Knew’, a gripping coming-of-age tale.

Hurry, there’s still a few of tickets left for internationally-renowned artist James Bay’s gig at De Montfort Hall on Wednesday night. The ‘Let it Go’ and ‘Hold Back the River’ hitmaker has come back with a bang this year, his latest album ‘Electric Light’ reaching number 2 in the UK album chart. This is shaping up to be a truly mind-blowing performance.
