Harborough FM are holding their monthly quiz night on the first Wednesday of every month. It will be hosted by HFM’s very own Dave Irving at Harborough’s High Street in The Angel Hotel. Team up with friends and family for a fun evening and test your general knowledge with great prizes up for grabs. You may not know the name but you’re sure to have heard him play in the music behind blockbuster films such as The Mission, The Da Vinci Code, Skyfall, The King’s Speech, Mamma Mia!, The Hunger Games trilogy, Beauty and the Beast and Victoria and Abdul. Now, Thomas Bowes is performing a series of concerts across the UK and will be in Leicester this week to showcase his love of Bach’s powerful and deeply personal sonatas and partitas for solo violin, which forms part of his Bach Pilgrimage. With the added acoustics of the wonderful Grade 1 listed Peckleton Church, it will be a profound evening.
