A Different Perspective, Loughborough, Sock Gallery, Thur 15 June – Sat 29 July
In this exhibition, local artist Lyn Armitage shows us her understanding of mixed media and acrylic. In playing with form and design Lyn creates her own highly individualised interpretation of her world. She is instinctively drawn to watercolour as a medium, and loves its fluid and anarchistic tendencies which challenge artistic sensibility, and bring a tension to her work. Meet the artist on Saturday 17th June between 10.30am – 12.30pm where you will have an opportunity to talk to her about her inspiration, methods and techniques.
