FOOD: Giggling Squid opens, St Martin’s Sq, Leics

As a self-confessed Thai food snob, I am so excited to say that new Thai restaurant, Giggling Squid has finally opened its doors. Serving modern Thai ‘tapas’ you can expect some creative dishes from lemon and lime tuna ‘petals’ to royal fishing boat curry. I can’t wait to get my Thai fix. Bring it on!

ART: Tim Fowler Exhibition, The Hub Leics, 8-29 Feb

One of my fave local artists, Tim Fowler is opening his solo exhibition, Impact on at The Hub, Leicester (open daily from 11am – 5pm).  Tim’s uses gorgeous vivid colour and explores tone and texture through portraiture and architectural paintings. You’ll probably already be familiar with his work without even knowing it. Private view 15 Feb 6-9pm.
