ART: StudionAme Takeover, LCB Depot, Leics Nov
Five fab local artists from StudionAme have been invited to create innovative exhibitions for the 3rd annual take over at the LCB Depot Gallery. Each artist is given a week to display current work to create an eclectic and exciting exhibition program showing throughout the entirety of November. Expect to see Loz Atkinson, Adam Khalifa, Ruth Hannah, Willow Stacey and Tom Van Herrewege.
COMEDY: Enter the Dragons, Fri 8 Nov
A hilarious, surreal odyssey that explodes the myths about getting older. Expect fantastical characters, ridiculous puppetry, extreme wigs, physical comedy and delightfully dark humour. Laugh-out-loud joy, dissent and touching humility for anyone who is considering ageing. From 7.30. Pay what you think. Suitable for kids 14 years+
FOOD: Vegan Market, Leicester, 9 and 30 Nov
Vegan foodies unite as Where to Vegan is back with its pop-up foodie market. Enjoy vegan delights from the likes of Leicester’s best and brightest vegan traders including: fried seitan deliciousness, vegan kebabs, the UK’s only plant-powered hog roast and vegan friendly and dairy-free Spanish pastry. The 30 Nov event will be a festive one.

KIDS THEATRE: Three Billy Goats Gruff, Curve, 9 Nov
The simple story of three hungry goats and a grumpy old troll, told with a gentle ecological message. Watch out for the dance of the goats, the flying troll and loads and loads of rubbish. Enter a magical world, with puppets, live music, storytelling and singing. £-6 years old. £7.
FESTIVE: Oadby Festive Light Switch On, 9 Nov
With over 45 Festive Stalls, Funfair, Music, Dance, Character Meet & Greets, Santa’s Grotto and much much more. It’s an evening not to be missed – Everyone is welcome, so come and join us for an evening of festive fun. From 2pm until 7pm
SHOP: Great Bowden Christmas Shopping Event, 10 Nov
Pick up some pretty gifts for family and friends at this village event. Held in the beautiful Great Bowden stores. Live choir singing carols, free tea, coffee and festive refreshments. £3 per adult, kids free. From 10am.
FESTIVE: Magical Lantern Walk, Oakham, 10 Nov
Join local kids as they walk through Oakham with warm glowing lanterns at dusk. Starting at All Saints Church, where we will all gather from 4.30pm – the procession begins 4.40pm. Finishing at Oakham Castle in front of the Great Hall.
