King Arthur, The Y Theatre, Leicester, Fri 20 Oct

One of my favourite stories but this has been slightly toned down for the kids. Story Pocket Theatre have bought this thrilling tale of magic, heroism, love and betrayal to life. Adapted from the novel Arthur: High King of Britain, by Michael Morpurgo, the author who also write War Horse and Private Peaceful. The story goes a little something like this; a drowning boy is rescued by a mysterious figure claiming to be Arthur Pendragon. As the old man tells his stories, he is transported back to the heady days of Camelot, the Round Table, Merlin, Excalibur, Lancelot and Guinevere. Ticket Price: £8 – Family of 4 £28 Shows at 11:30 & 14:30. Suitable for 7 yrs +
