What’s On: This Weekend
Canteen, LCB Depot, Fri 28 April
The monthly pop-up is back in town and not surprising, growing in popularity. This month there will be more food on offer and you can tuck into handmade Bao (steamed buns) from Wallace and Sons, Caribbean seafood platters served up by Leave it to Esmie, halloumi fries from Street Chef to name a few. I’ve been told, on good authority that they may even look at doing two a month because the turn out and reaction has been so great. Ahmed Kage, the brains behind Canteen told me it took him four years to get the idea off the ground…looks like it was worth the wait.
