Based on the Oakham Enterprise Park, just outside Oakham, in purpose built air-conditioned kitchens, Rutland Cookery school offers over 30 different courses that are either skills-based or cuisine-based. They include masterclasses in game, bread, fish and patisserie and a range of cuisines from Moroccan to Thai.

The school has been established by chef Robin Stewart who loves nothing more than to help others develop skills in the kitchen, passing on hints and tips, techniques and short cuts which he has learned from working in kitchens around the world.

Rutland Cookery School offers full day and half day workshops and the emphasis of the workshop is not on slavishly following a recipe but on developing your own personal taste, judgement and techniques.
