STRONG is a fitness movement combining rowing or riding with Pilates-inspired movements using a snazzy new innovative Rowformer machine, which combines pilates and rowing.
STRONG launched in Australia and has just recently come over to the UK recently and the Leicester branch is its first studio in the Midlands. A STRONG class offers a slightly untraditional workout but more than your typical pilates class. Each class lasts between 45-50 minutes, incorporating a mixture of cardio HIIT training and Pilates-inspired strength and resistance training via the Rowformer so if you’re serious about your workout, you’ll want to try this class.
The brand new Leicester studio comes complete with 20 Rowformers and is situated 5 minutes walk from the city centre. In one class, you’ll sweat, shake but get stronger by doing a pilates inspired workout for your body combined with strong controlled movements and and bursts of fast movement to get your heart rate up. The best bit? There’s little to no impact on your joints, making it one of the safest and most efficient ways to train.
There’s no need for beginner classes as each trainer can modify the class to your needs and the Rowformer changes angles to target different areas of the body during the exercises.
