Muddy says: If you really want to relax your mind and body or beat a bad habit, try a session of hypnotherapy. It’ll make you feel weird and wonderful but in the best way possible.
The idea of being hypnotised can sound alarming and scary but in reality, clinical hypnotherapy is a wonderful and safe form of complementary therapy that uses the power of positive suggestion to bring about subconscious change to our thoughts and behaviour.
Shelly Dar is a trained clinical hypnotherapist and has worked with a range of clients, each one coming to her for different issues from wanting to enhance their sports performance to wanting to stop smoking.
She works from her home practice in rural South Leicestershire and also from a clinic in Enderby. She previously worked in retail and then in HR but realised she had an innate urge to help people deal with their own personal issues and has not looked back since.
She is also a fully trained counsellor which works wonderfully well with hypnotherapy and offers one-to-one meetings with the aim to restore emotional well-being and is 100% focussed on the client.
Constantly trying to challenge herself and learn new skills, she is also training to become a reiki teacher and will also be offering this service later in the year, so watch this space.
