Always looking at ways to do our bit for the environment, it’s no surprise that we’re fans of Nada. Located in St Martin’s Square, the friendly lifestyle store sells plastic-free, ethically sourced products for the home as well as a variety of dried foodstuff.

Owner Lauren Welch is passionate about helping to educate people about how they can  people do their bit to become a plastic free household and, as a mum herself has lots of tips and ideas on how to help you on your journey.

Stock up your kitchen with eco-friendly kitchen products including cutlery and locally made wax wraps – a great alternative to cling film. Fill your bathroom and bedside cabinet with sustainable toiletries, beauty products, razors – probably the last razor you’ll ever buy.

You can also pick up a tonne of vegan-friendly products (can the store be any more virtuous?).

Dried food includes everything from flour, sugar, rice, lentils, crackers, spices and Lauren encourages people to bring empty glass jars and bags to refill them directly from the bulk supply so you can stop food waste, and save money.

Now that’s a complete win-win in our books!
