Set up by Craig Bosworth in 2018, the company roast ethically-sourced, 100% arabica coffee beans from small cooperatives and supply to cafes, restaurants, hotels, soft play centres, gyms, pubs and offices across the UK.

These guys know everything there is to know about coffee and it doesn’t taste bad either, in fact their decaf blend  recently won another Great Taste Award!

Every coffee bean you see, it’s been hand-roasted by them over at Jute HQ. All those in the coffee bags and tubs, all those made for the cafés and small business customers – they literally have their fingers to the grind every day of the week and they do all of this while carefully considering the impact on the environment.

Jute believe they are the UK’s first zero-waste coffee company. They provide coffee in their own refillable tubs which are designed to last 25 years before being recycled – saving a whopping 1,000 coffee bags from landfill per tub. They also work with bio-bean and take commercially used grounds to be made into coffee logs that can be used in home wood burners and stoves. Plus, their coffee pouches are made from 70% sugar cane extract (waste from the sugarcane industry) and is easily recyclable as are the labels and coffee bags.

But that’s not all! For every 500kg of coffee sold, they sponsor a beehive as a little thank you to coffee-pollinating bees for keeping them buzzing – how nice is that?

And if you missed your regular caffeine fix during lockdown, they’ve just launched a brand new coffee subscription service. Simply choose your grind style and blend and then wait for it to be delivered in a letterbox-friendly package.  Recyclable of course!
