Green Space Therapy and Counselling

If your days have become chaotic and consuming and you're yearning to slow down, try a wellbeing walk to help you relax, feel calm and help give you a sense of clarity.

Alison Broughton is a qualified counselling therapist who specialises in nature therapy and natural mindfulness. She’s really passionate about the benefits of being and working with nature and helps to encourage people to invest in themselves and connect to nature. She has over four years’ experience working in counselling and can help with loss, bereavement, anxiety and more.

She also runs a series of wellbeing walks (yes, they’re a real thing!), focusing on maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of nature, mindfulness techniques to aid relaxation and restoration and utilise your senses to help develop a deeper connection to the natural world around you.

Her country walks can be run individually or as part of a group and often walks through the picturesque village of Sutton Cheney or Market Bosworth country park which incorporates woodland spaces and open fields. She

She predominantly works outdoors, incorporating the healing power of nature but can also meet you in her Hinckley office, chat online or over the phone. To help ease any worries you may have about starting counselling, Alison is offering a free 15-minute consultation.
