Painting is a passion for Ellie. She studied Fine Art here at De Montfort University and has never looked back. She now works as a full time artist – in between being a busy mum of course. She’s inspired by new and old artists including Matisse, Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Peter Lanyon and Terry Setch and works on the connection she has with nature and outdoor experiences, using emotion, movement, colour and mark making to create original abstract impressionist pieces.

She adds character and personality to each piece with different techniques and mediums such as acrylic paint, metallic spray paint, marker pen and gold leaf and her work has been featured in various publication and New Walk Gallery and Leicester Arts Festival.
