Property flirt! Can you guess the price?

Love peering around a fancy house! Here, have a virtual tour of this four bedroom farmhouse in Rutland and then guess the price!

Located in Stretton in Rutland, Highfield Farm was originally the village post office but has evolved and grown quite substantially into quite a large farmhouse. The village has easy access to Rutland Water, as well as mainline train services to London from Peterborough and Grantham plus, there’s a clutch of good schools just a few miles away.

The farmhouse has high ceilings and spacious rooms and still retains many original features. This property also comes with an orangery, four bedrooms, a gorgeous garden, a reception hall, a drawing room, a kitchen/dining room plus a newly built one-bed annexe that has its own beautifully fitted kitchen and a sitting room! Let’s take a meander through it, shall we?

Not a fan of the bright red walls? No problem, nothing a lick of paint won’t fix but if the music room is big enough to fit that piano, imagine how big the rest of the house is.

Check out the size of those windows – you don’t often see that in a family home and the open fireplace gives it a really cosy feel.

This is no dinky kitchen – it comes with a central island and an Aga which opens up into an orangery, which links though to the annexe. This room is flooded with natural light thanks to the glass ceiling windows.

While we’re here, let’s take a looksie at the newly-built annexe shall we? It contains a beautifully fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces, a breakfast bar, twin ovens and plenty of storage. It’s perfect for family – or the in-laws – when they visit or a great alternative to renting for older kids.

The bedroom comes with with an en suite shower room and even a walk-in cupboard -fancy!

Back in the main house, there’s four bedrooms upstairs one with an ensuite and then also a family bathroom. Outside the garden is spacious and features a terrace, fruit trees and a kitchen area – perfect for entertaining alfresco during the summer months. There’s plenty of lawn too for kids to run around in.

The property also comes with a stable block, a newly-built four port garage, an outhouse and a tractor shed.
