Property flirt: A Woodhouse Eaves wowzer!
Rightmove has reported that property searches for homes with gardens are through the roof at the mo – no surprise then that since lockdown everyone is craving more outdoor space!
Well, this stunner for a home, in Nanhill Drive, Woodhouse Eaves has a beautifully landscaped south-facing garden.
As well as that, there’s four bedrooms and bathrooms a snooker room and more and has all been designed by local architect, Will Aust. Let’s take a looksie, shall we?
So after binge-watching Property Brothers, Fixer Upper and Dream Homes during lockdown, I’ve become a fan of island kitchens and this one hits the spot. It’s been designed by Montague’s of Leicester and as you can see, there’s plenty of space for cocktails and even dancing here plus, it’s neutral enough to put your own stamp on it. I also love the big American style fridge/freezer – always handy if you love entertaining.
The smaller living area by the kitchen – apparently this is called a living kitchen – opens up to the garden ohh and another thing on my dream home wishlist…bifold doors that lead to a terrace as stunning as this one.
Obviously there’s a larger living room that features a beautiful feature fire place and check out the radiators – no dull white ones here!
There’s also an office, laundry room and the split-level landing provides access to three double bedrooms, three bathrooms and that full-sized snooker room I mentioned above. The snooker room comes with a beautiful high vaulted ceiling and can be used as a fifth bedroom if needed. Meanwhile, the master suite features a south facing Juliet balcony, bespoke fitted wardrobes and the en-suite features a free standing bath- no expense has been spared here!
And then, there’s the gorgeous green garden. There’s clearly a lot of room to work with, as well as a large entertaining terrace with views over the gardens – perfect for summer soirees and barbecues. The gardens are fully landscaped and offer a high degree of privacy.
The house sits behind a low slate wall and there’s a generous driveway plus an integral double car garage.
Woodhouse Eaves itself is a picture-box perfect village nestled within the Charnwood Forest. There are several good pubs in the village and you’re also near to Loughborough. The area is well known for its lovely walks and numerous beauty spot including Beacon Hill, Swithland Woods and historic Bradgate Park.
All well and good, but how much would you be willing to pay? Take a guess and comment below, then peek at the right answer over at Fine and Country (no cheating, now!).
