Wymondham Windmill Tearooms, have got a vintage one on Sun 31 March where you can enjoy views of the historic windmill while you sipping your tea. When you’re done, work off those extra calories by climbing the stairs to the top of the windmill while the mudlets run around in the playground and there’s even a woodland puzzle trail in their two-acre woodland below.
Meanwhile, Claire from Kavanagh’s Tearoom will ensure her goodies spoil your mum rotten over the weekend. Expect delicate finger sandwiches, fresh plain and fruit scones, lemon meringue pies, choc eclairs, with mini cheesecake and handmade delicious indulgent truffle.
Mums get in free to Barnsdale Gardens on Sunday when accompanied by children. They’ll get the chance to see hundreds of colourful spring blooms carpeting the borders and hear beautiful birdsong before settling in for dainty sandwiches, savoury and sweet bites and more.
