The Finch’s Arms

Muddy says: Great food, beautiful views, top-notch service, it’s no wonder this village pub is a hit.

The Finch’s Arms is a 17th Century English Country Inn tucked away in the heart of the Hambleton Peninsula on Rutland Water. Inside its bright and airy and comes with brilliant beamed ceilings, cask ales, small bustling bar and elegant restaurant and terrace with magnificent views over the water, it the perfect place to stop, relax and watch the world go by.

Chef Mark Gough heads up the kitchen and his passion and reputation for creating delicious mouth-watering food, using fresh, local seasonal produce rubs off on the staff too.

Their 10 en-suite bedrooms are beautifully decorated and four of the double rooms have breath-taking views of Rutland water. If you’re lucky, you may even be able to spot the local wildlife from your balcony or bay window.
