Follow Dick Whittington as he travels to London to find his fortune with Tommy, his faithful cat. Does Dick have any hope of becoming the next lord mayor of London? Or will the post be taken by the corrupt King Rat? Expect lots of beautiful costumes, lively song and dance routines, loads of audience participation and lots and lots of laughs.

Everyone knows the traditional fairytale of Belle and the Beast. This year enjoy it in pant style as Richard ‘Dick’ McCourt of children’s TV’s Dick and Dom fame will star alongside the star of ITV’s Heartbeat, David Lonsdale and Leicester’s very own Sam Bailey (oh no she didn’t) return for a second year. Expect a lot of fun and laughter in this panto version.

You shall go to the ball along with Cinderella in one the most magical pantomimes of them all. Soul-diva Beverley Knight will make her pantomime debut in this year’s Hippodrome spectacular, alongside Strictly Come Dancing finalist Danny Mac, Birmingham panto-favourite Matt Slack, pop and television star Suzanne Shaw, comedy duo The Grumbleweeds, and the most faaaaabulous Ugly Sisters in show business, Ceri Dupree and Phil Randall. As well as a fabulous cast and orchestra, there will be tonnes of laugh-out-loud comedy, special effects, colourful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses for all the family to enjoy.

Yeah yeah we all know the story of the Princess Snow White, hated by her step-mother but is saved by the seven dwarfs. Throw in a dashing prince, a talking mirror, a couple of inept murderers, a Dame to die for, the Queen’s henchman and – oh yes – an apprentice fairy trying to earn her wings and you get a fast moving, action packed traditional pantomime.

It’s all down to Robin, Marion and his gang to stop him in his tracks. Daring duels, stunning sets, outrageous costumes and a very merry man in a dress that will have you in stitches!
