Too early to think about summer festivals? Hell no! Timber is confirmed 2-4 July and we can’t wait. This year expect field music, music stories and circus skills, woodland games, yoga, spoken word and live music and more. New this year are the luxury bell tents that you can book for your own private woodland haven – with or without the kids!

Chinese takeaway at home
We’re big fans of Leicestershire chef Kwoklyn Wan so are super chuffed that he’s gone and bagged himself a show on Prime Video UK. Starting this Friday, you can watch him create 24 of your fave, mouth-watering, authentic Chinese takeaway dishes which you can recreate in your own home (perfect to make during lockdown). We’re hoping he’s included his lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork balls and chilli ginger crispy tofu recipes and ohh, it ties in perfectly with the Chinese New Year. No fuss, less money, and more healthy. Soya sauce at the ready?! Let’s go!
We could all do with a little magic at the mo, which is why I’m glad that magician, illusionist and dancer, Magical Bones‘ show at Curve is now going ahead on 18 Feb as an interactive virtual magic experience. Richard Essien aka Magical Bones and finalist on Britain’s Got Talent invites you to not just watch, but to take part in this is unique show live via Zoom.
