You know how the story goes…poor Cinderella is bullied by her big bossy sister but her friend in Buttons is always there to cheer her up with this weird and wacky inventions. The ultimate pantomime villain, the Sheriff hatches a wicked plan to get rid of his niece and nephew, the Babes in the Wood, and claim their fortune. It’s down to Robin Hood to save the day and stop the Sheriff with a little help from his Merry Men and Maid Marian. Expect plenty of songs, dance, laughter and colourful costumes in this traditional family-friendly panto.

Enter the dashing Prince Valiant, along with Nanny Fanny McWheeze and Muddles, who embark on an adventure to save the Princess…BUT with the wicked Fairy Carabosse determined to ruin their plans, will they be triumphant or is the Princess doomed to snooze?

Treasure Island, Haymarket Theatre, Leicester Thurs 13th Dec – Sun 6 Jan 

Penned by national treasure and established author Sandi Toksvig (The Great British Bake Off) you can expect  her serious sharp wit in this production. On the hunt for treasure, Jim Hawkins encounters deadly storms and even deadlier pirates, led by the infamous Long John Silver. There will be daring sword fights, piratical parrots and acrobatic puppets, this new adaptation is wonderfully imaginative and will leave you spellbound.
