Enjoy a socially distanced picnic in the Nevill Holt grounds serenaded by talented young artists. The Music for A Summer Day event will feature NHO Young Artists and guests will also be able to explore art and sculpture in the beautiful gardens, and purchase delicious locally-sourced food and drink. NHO Young Artists will entertain you with a selection of English Folksongs in arrangements by Grainger, Elgar, Parry and more. There will be two performances on the day. Leicestershire drive-in takes place in Market Harborough Showground later this summer. Films will be show between 21- 23 Aug and include Joker, Toy Story, Grease and more and tickets will be priced at £35 per car for up to 4 occupants and £40 for 5 or more occupants. More info can be found here.

Battle Royale, Cattows Farm, August
Fans of Fortnite and Warzone can take part in a real-life Battle Royale. Choose your favourite weapon, gather your squad and prepare for battle as this popular outdoor laser tag experience, is heading to Cattows Farm during the month of August. There will be two themed arenas as well as 3d realism sound and special FX. Kids will be able to participate in a choice of 3 games and there will be Covid guidance and safety in places. Drive thru hog roast, Woodhouse Farm, 8 Aug
Tuck into spit-roasted pork with crispy crackling, apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing at a fantastic drive thru hog roast event. Woodhouse Farm near Earl Shilton will be holding their next event this Sat on the 8th. The farm who specialise in hog roasts, beef and lamb roasts, cook the hogs on spits for 12 hours. Customers need to pre-book and pre-pay for the hog roasts and you can select your preferred collection time. £4 for a small roll, £5 for a large roll, or £6 for a tray. Roast potatoes are £1.50 a portion.
